Altered Art Embellishments

Like many of you I love altered art. I've always been a collector which can be clearly demonstrated by a quick look around my studio or craft room. I have many little bins of items that have wonderful collections of "stuff". I really never knew what I would do this "stuff" but I knew I had to have it. My style has changed over the years from very primitive in years past to more of a vintage style today. I'm still trying to find my own voice in my art. I'm still having a hard time calling it art.
As I said, I love my collections of stuff but have a hard time using it in my art since I don't want to use it up. In response to this I've started to design and develop my own embellishments and this way I don't ever have to run out of anything I can simply make more.
The picture here is of some embellishments I've made recently. I'm not sure what I'll use them in but I do love the images themselves. They're made of plastic and resin and are made with my own computer generated graphics to which I've added some vintage face images. I'm thinking of making them into buttons or using them in some mixed media jewelry items. I can easily drill holes in them so the possibilities are endless. Perhaps that's the problem with getting started-the truly endless possibilities that are running around in my brain. Where do I start!
